- צִחְצוּחַ, צִי׳m. (צִחְצֵחַ) 1) glistening. Sot.VIII, 1 צ׳ חרבות the brandishing of the enemys swords. Mekh. Bshall. s. 2 כנגד צ׳ חרבות שלהן this (the lightning) corresponds to their (the Egyptians) brandishing their swords; Yalk. Sam. 160 כנגד צ׳ הזין.Pl. צִחְצוּחִין (or צַחְ׳). Midr. Till, to Ps. 18:13 חזר פרעה והביא מיני צ׳ של ברזל … מצוחצחין again Pharaoh brought up various kinds of glistening iron (steel) armor, and the Lord brought lightnings which are glistening. 2) clear fluid, dilution.
